Confirm server outage

Just like refreshing the page, logging out of ChatGPT and logging back in creates a new signal request to the server. This may be enough to get the platform’s attention.
Use a VPN or incognito mode
You may not be able to access ChatGPT due to the IP address you are using. Changing the IP address will ping a different server with a different server capacity. Another way to have a similar effect is to go to incognito mode in your browser.

try during non-peak hours
ChatGPT often hits capacity as everyone tries to use it at the same time. A workaround is to try accessing ChatGPT during off-peak hours. Roughly speaking, this translates to early morning or late night in your time zone, and no one is trying to use ChatGPT to summarize a book or write a cover letter.
