It’s not May yet, but to celebrate The Mandalorian’s return to Disney+, we’re bringing you Google’s newest Easter egg with The Force.
Our Favorite Mandalorian Merchandise (opens in new tab) makes Grogu appear on the back of your smartphone or Echo Dot speaker. Google also has other plans for Grogu this year. The Alphabet-owned company introduced his Grogu surprise every time you searched for “The Mandalorian” or related terms like “Grogu” or “Baby Yoda.”powerful baby yoda Grogu appears in the bottom right corner of your web browser and messes up your results.
Clicking on the young Padawan lets him know it’s time to show off by ripping off trailers, show news, and other search elements on the page. If you click on Grogu, the page will automatically scroll down and then force you to grab it. When he cuts the search results off the page, Grogu stacks them neatly (sort of) along the bottom of the browser.

If you don’t have the patience, just scroll down the page without interacting with Grogu and it will disappear. Additionally, if you’ve fully utilized your Jedi Force abilities, clicking the “X” that appears to the left of Grogu will return all search elements to their original positions and allow you to interact with them again.

It’s not that Google hasn’t celebrated various events with fun Easter eggs. Grogu’s appearance in his Search isn’t even the first Star Wars-related surprise. Because the company celebrated his 4th of May with a series of movies available to watch in chronological order on Google TV.
Google is likely promoting the third season of “The Mandalorian,” which just started on Disney+ on March 1st.
