The Fossil smartwatch app was previously exclusive to the company’s hybrid smartwatches, but with the availability of Wear OS 3, the app is now available on full smartwatches. The Fossil Smartwatches app also allows you to edit your watch settings, change watch faces and tiles, find your device, and connect to Google Fit.
The app also displays all your health and fitness metrics from your Fossil smartwatch and gives you a way to understand and view them. That said, it’s not exactly a robust experience, and the app’s navigation and his UI can be a little confusing, if not intuitive.
Fortunately, I’ve used it enough on devices such as the Fossil Gen 6 Wellness Edition to support some of the app’s key features. Note that it only works with smartwatches or touchscreen watches.
For Skagen Falster Gen 6 owners, the Skagen Smartwatches app is pretty much the same and these instructions should work as well.
Set up your Wear OS smartwatch using the Fossil smartwatch app
1. After downloading the Fossil Smartwatches app, open it and login.
2. select “Touchscreen” if you have a Wear OS 3 smartwatch.
3. accept Google Terms of Service.
Four. connection A watch with Bluetooth when it appears in the menu. Make sure your watch is powered on.
5. After connecting, copy Google account to watch.
6. follow the instructions Set up your Alexa Assistant, set a screen lock, and enable tracking features in the Fossil Wellness app.

Setting up your watch gives you access to many features and actions. Fitness metrics are always on your home screen and can be tapped to see details like steps, activity, sleep and more.
Change watch face and tiles
1. Tap An image of a smartwatch in the center of the app’s home screen.
2. swipe up Select the app tiles you want to include.
3. When finished, tap and hold Click to select a tile and drag it to the desired position on the clock. You can also use the trash can icon to delete anything you don’t want.

Four. swipe over To change your watch face, go to the “My Faces” section.
Five. swipe up Choose from the options.
6. Once you have chosen your watch face, you can customize it by editing the colors and complications.

Changing tiles and watch faces in Wear OS is very easy, and the app offers a large number of watch faces to choose from.
If you have a hybrid smartwatch, your customization is somewhat limited as you cannot change the color options. However, you can upload images from your phone’s gallery to match the watch to your personal style.
Adjust clock settings
1. Tap An image of a smartwatch in the center of the app’s home screen.
2. Tap Settings cog in the top right corner of the app.Or you can also do select For quick access, access My Preferences from the carousel on the main page.

Here you can adjust most settings on your smartwatch instead of adjusting them on the watch itself. This turns out to be faster than going back and forth between Wear OS’s individual menus.
Connect Fossil Smartwatches App to Google Fit
1. Tap Hamburger menu on the top left.
2. select “Wellness” in the side navigation menu.
3. Tap “Connected Apps”.
Four. check “Google Fit” to connect apps and sync health and fitness data.

By the time the Wear OS 3 update rolled out, Google Fit had not been updated to support Wear Health Services, so Fossil allowed you to sync your health data using the Fossil Smartwatches app. That way you don’t miss a workout.
Take a screenshot of your Fossil smartwatch
1. Follow the previous steps to access your watch settings.
2. scroll down and Tap “system.”
3. select “Request a screenshot of Wear OS” select The contact or method to use when the share panel pops up.

Unlike Samsung’s smartwatches like the Galaxy Watch 5, which uses the familiar two-button-press method borrowed from Android phones, Fossil still relies on the previous Wear OS 2 method for screenshots. That means you can only do it from the companion app, which is a rather tedious task.
Requesting a screenshot prompts you to send it immediately, which isn’t necessarily the goal, but at least this way you can upload the image to a service like Google Photos.
Find your watch using the Fossil Smartwatches app
1. Tap Clock icon in the upper right corner.
2. swipe up and select “Find my watch”
3.[地図上の場所を特定]is turned on.

Fossil’s Wear OS 3 watches come with GPS so you know where your watch was last. Alternatively, you can find your Fossil smartwatch using Google’s Find My Device app.
How to switch the clock
1. Tap The clock icon in the top right corner of the home page.
2. If you have more than one Fossil smartwatch, swipeMatch r to the clock you use.
3. Tap “activate” and hang on Set in the app.

The Fossil Group with the Fossil Smartwatches App has a range of brands. If you have multiple Fossil smartwatches, the app allows you to easily switch between them, including Fossil’s hybrid smartwatches. Only one clock can be “active” at a time. So that’s the device that syncs with the Fossil Smartwatches app.
How to unpair and reset your watch
1. Tap The clock icon in the top right corner of the home page.
2. swipe up until you find “unpair and reset”. Tap that.
3. confirmation Select it and wait for the app to finish resetting the clock.

Occasionally you may experience issues with your smartwatch or need to pair it with a new smartphone. For Wear OS users, this unfortunately means unpairing your current phone and resetting your watch. Doing this will wipe the clock and you will have to set it all over again.
