Twitter’s paid plan, Twitter Blue, is now available in over 20 European countries. These countries include Netherlands, Poland, Ireland, Belgium, Sweden, Romania, Czech Republic, Finland, Denmark, Greece, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Slovakia, Latvia, Slovenia, Estonia, Croatia, Luxembourg, Malta, Cyprus It is included.
This expansion will make the social network’s subscription service available in more than 35 countries around the world. Under Elon Musk, Twitter Blue first launched in his December, with a fee of $8 per month and paid users with his Blue certification mark.
Since then, the company has introduced features like posting 60-minute videos, 4,000-character long tweets, and the ability to prioritize conversations. This plan also includes legacy features like Tweet editing, thread readers, and bookmark folders.
To grow subscribers, Twitter launched an annual plan in January for $84 a year. In the past few weeks, Twitter has also launched annual plans for $114 on both iOS and Android.
Musk has bet on a subscription plan to bring in massive revenue, but early results have been disappointing. According to estimates and reports, he has less than 300,000 subscribers to the new Twitter Blue service.
Earlier this week, many users were having trouble accessing various parts of Twitter, including Timeline, Search, and Direct Messages. These issues came after Musk reportedly laid off more than 200 of his employees in a recent round of job cuts.
