It’s been a busy week, but we’ve finished covering new announcements from Barcelona and all the hands-on experiences with the new smartphones announced in the last few days. Finally, which new phone impressed you the most?
Here, in addition to the mobile phones announced at MWC, we will include existing devices that have hit the market and are expanding into the global market. Sort them into categories so you can vote for the best.
As already mentioned, there are hands-on reports from most new releases, as well as some reviews (written and/or video reviews). There are so many devices we go through that I won’t go into detail here, but instead put it all together in a handy table that lists prices and links to specs and additional coverage.
Let’s start with the flagship. Honor has announced its new Magic5 series, with vanilla and Pro model triple cameras looking to take on the Leica-branded cameras in the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro. , the company announced its global expansion this week. It’s been renamed since the GT Neo 5, but it’s a similar story with the Realme GT3.

Next is foldable. There are only two, but you don’t see many horizontal foldables without the “Galaxy” name outside of China, so there are actually more than two. Tecno is set to launch its first foldable Phantom V Fold in India (with plans to expand to other regions later).

Moved to Midranger. The Xiaomi 13 Lite is a new device that wasn’t unveiled in December along with his other two his 13 series models. It goes up against the vivo V27 and V27 Pro. All three spotlight selfie cameras and use mid-range chips (the brand new Dimensity 7200 for the V27 and the rare Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 for Xiaomi).

We finish with a new entry-level phone. Here are the vivo V27e, three Nokia’s including the G22 designed to be repairable, a C-series pair of Go Edition phones, plus some of his TCL phones for the US. The X and XE have 5G connectivity. The XE is TCL’s cheapest 5G phone to date. Other models are 4G only.
