According to supply chain sources, Apple will supply OLED panels for next year’s iPhone SE 4 to BOE.
BOE has reportedly been left out of supplying the iPhone 15 and OLED iPad due to reported quality concerns on the part of Cupertino.Samsung Display and LG Display will supply these displays.
The iPhone SE 4 will be the first OLED SE model, as it inherits the iPhone 14’s body and some of its components. It uses an LTPS (low temperature polycrystalline silicon) TFT (thin film transistor) display.
The part is rumored to cost around $40, more than double the $100 display on the Pro model.
