160Hz 4K IPS, DisplayHDR1000 and Quantum Dot
Buying a display with Mini-LED backlighting and a Quantum Dot filter is an expensive proposition, especially if you’re looking for one with adaptive sync. available at just over $900. It features a 576-zone mini LED backlight, quantum dots, and is both G-SYNC and Freesync compliant with 1200 nits peak brightness and 1ms response time. The color gamut is also impressive, managing 99% Adobe RGB and 98% DCI-P3 in our tests.
The refresh rate is advertised as a 160 Hz refresh rate, but the Adaptive Sync section also specifies 144 Hz, so I’m a bit skeptical. This may help explain the flickering KitGuru notices when both HDR and Adaptive Sync are enabled.
