I’m having trouble with Twitter again. Several users, including members of the TechCrunch team, are currently unable to view social links and images on his network. Twitter said the issue was caused by an internal change. According to a third-party report on his web monitoring service Downdetector, the problem began around 11:50 am.
“Some parts of Twitter may not be working as expected right now,” the company said. tweet. “We made an internal change that had unintended consequences. We are currently working on this and will share an update once it is fixed.”
When I click the link, it says “Your current API plan does not include access to this endpoint. https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/twitter-api for more information. ” The link in the error message also seems to be broken.
This latest outage comes about a week after Elon Musk cut more than 200 jobs in the company’s latest layoff. The cut involved Esther Crawford, head of Twitter Blue, and Martijn de Kuijper of newsletter app Revue.
After Elon Musk bought Twitter last October and laid off thousands of employees, many feared the social network would slowly collapse. This isn’t the first time Twitter has run into trouble in the past few months.
Just a few days ago, many parts of the social network, including Timeline, were broken for users around the world. Last month, Twitter began showing users that they were over their “daily rate limit,” but another bug was preventing users from following other users. In December, the social network faced a glitch, displaying a “Rate Exceeded Limit” error to users.
