If you’re in the market for Microsoft Surface computers or tablets, now’s a good time to score a few deals on the lineup.

Surface Pro 9 is the best tablet laptop on the market. A tablet PC that runs Windows 11, uses a backlit removable keyboard cover, and is optimized for use with a digital pen (Surface Pen). It’s lightweight, has a smaller footprint than most 2-in-1 laptops, and has plenty of power to edit media and handle light gaming at higher configurations.

The entry-level Surface Pro 9 (Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD) currently retails for between $1,000 and $900 at Best Buy and comes with a free Surface Keyboard Cover that typically costs an extra $180. I’m here. It’s $300 cheaper than the entry point of Apple’s 12.9-inch iPad Pro, can’t run full programs (apps only), and doesn’t include the separately sold Magic Keyboard ($350). This 13-inch Surface Pro model features an Intel i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage to edit documents on your device without sacrificing the ability to use full programs. It’s great for people who just want to do things like or browse the web.

Microsoft’s Surface Laptop 4 is also on sale for up to $646 off, depending on the model. It’s not the latest model (Surface Laptop 5), but it’s a solid choice for a mid- to high-end laptop. Whether it’s the 13-inch or 15-inch model, it’s a sleek, well-made, and well-supported product with a very comfortable and satisfying keyboard and trackpad experience. The entry-level 13-inch variant retails for $600 and features an AMD Ryzen 5 4680U CPU, 8GB RAM, and a 256GB SSD. That’s $300 off the full retail price and about $100 off the regular street price. The 15-inch model, with options for up to 32 GB of RAM with an Intel i7 processor and 1 TB of storage, is currently priced at $1,945 (usually $2,100) on Amazon. Microsoft’s website offers great discounts on almost all models.

Now’s also the perfect time to grab a Surface Laptop Go 2 at a discounted price. In our review, we found the Go 2 to be a likable product, but not without some flaws. It is useless. Second, the $700 model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is too expensive. But as we said in our review, “If you can find it on sale…the Laptop Go 2 is a no-fuss budget laptop worth considering if you can afford its flaws.”8 With a GB RAM, 128 GB storage model currently on sale, it could be a good choice for those looking for a compact and well-made laptop for everyday tasks and light gaming. As a plus, it’s easier to repair than most of its competitors, offering a user-removable SSD and manual instructions for a few other serviceable components.The Laptop Go 2 doesn’t have a backlit keyboard.
