Google has significantly restructured the Pixel brand with the Pixel 6 series. Google grabbed the bull’s horns and managed to come out on top in the fierce smartphone arena.
There are many things to watch out for on the horizon. It’s no longer just smart home technology. Google’s Pixel tablet and rumored foldable device promise a lot of excitement. Life for Pixel fans has never been better.

We have to hand it over to Google. Google never compromises on the quality of your phone’s camera. It’s still fresh in my mind when I failed to charge the Google Pixel 6 series. While the Pixel 7 series didn’t make the same mistake, the speed of wired charging for both devices was embarrassing in this day and age. Seriously, 30W is nothing to brag about. To make matters worse, the Pixel 6a supports even slower 18W wired charging.
Budget phones trade off a lot, but they shouldn’t sacrifice battery and charging speed.The Pixel A series is in desperate need of an upgrade in this regard. Taking the leaves out, you can boost the Pixel 7a’s wired charging speeds to at least 25W. If the Galaxy A53 5G can do it, so can the Pixel 7a.
Snappier 90hz refresh rate
The Google Pixel 6a’s OLED panel had nothing revolutionary or groundbreaking. Sure, the screen size was a welcome change, but otherwise it was mediocre. However, early issues with the fingerprint reader pretty much damaged the phone’s reputation. Good to see that Google acted quickly and deployed a bug fix quickly.
Our wishes don’t match the poor performance of last year’s 60Hz screen.An ideal Pixel 7a display would maintain screen size while improving the quality of the panel itself. According to an old leak, the upcoming Pixel A series devices could feature faster refresh rates, and we couldn’t be happier.
A faster 90Hz screen refresh rate is something of a dream for us. You may not realize it, but a higher refresh rate on your display makes the whole phone much more responsive and makes everything feel better.

The Pixel 6a’s petite size was a welcome change from its predecessor, the Pixel 5a. Its revolutionary new dual-tone look sets the phone apart from his old-budget Pixel and gave the series much-needed life.
Another thing on my wish list for the Google Pixel 7a is height. There aren’t many small Android smartphones anymore. ASUS has paid close attention to this niche, opting for a 5.9-inch screen in the fantastic Zenfone 9. It was a very wise decision and contributed greatly to the phone’s relative success.
Not everyone wants a 7 inch goliath like the S23 Ultra. A lot of people covet a decent Android phone that can do everything big guys can do and still fit in their pants pocket. Smaller phones are easier to use, especially with one hand. It also weighs much less, which means less stress on your hands at all times. If the Pixel 7a matches his Zenfone 9’s ergonomics, it definitely beats the Pixel 6a.
wireless charging
A beggar cannot be a chooser, but here he chooses. The rumor mill is buzzing with Google Pixel 7a leaks and alleged specs. An interesting piece of information floating around is that the Pixel 7a may support 5W wireless charging.
I don’t know if this rumor carries any weight now. All I can say for sure is that this is one of our team’s top 5 most wanted features. Android CentralWireless charging will push up the definition of “cheap” Android phones and force competitors to compete.
No budget phone has ever had wireless charging, but we hope to see this feature come to the Pixel 7a.
