Google has updated the list of devices that support the ARCore Augmented Reality Development Kit. Not surprisingly, the Google Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and Pixel 6a are on the list.
This means that Google’s latest and greatest Android smartphones can offer in-app ARCore functionality to their users. For beginners, ARCore is a platform for building augmented reality experiences using various APIs. For example, the kit allows directions and details to be overlaid on Google Maps live view so you can get to your destination without getting lost. This is accomplished by sensing your surroundings and tracking your position in relation to the rest of the world.
