Update (March 7 5:30 PM ET): Google I/O 2023 will be held on May 10th.
What you need to know
- Google is now teasing I/O 2023 with a new series of puzzles.
- There are 6 types of main puzzles in total, and there are also puzzles that rearrange the main puzzles.
- Despite being resolved by some, there is still no verdict on when Google I/O 2023 will take place.
It’s been another year and it’s time for Google to tease everyone about its annual developer conference. It looks like Google I/O 2023 is just around the corner as we have new I/O themed puzzles. And we mean it literally and figuratively.
In Google’s terms, the company has not just announced when I/O 2023 will take place. Instead, you have to solve a series of input/output puzzles. Then, “Stay tuned for future updates.”
Great job solving puzzles, Andrew! There’s still time to share with your friends🙌 Stay tuned for more updates…March 7, 2023
To get started, you need to go to the I/O 2023 puzzle landing page. The page displays a nice “Hello, again, world” message.click start Immerse yourself in different puzzles by clicking the buttons at the bottom of the screen.

But before that, there’s something like a little progress bar in the top left corner.
Clicking the arrow shows “global progress”, implying that no response will be provided until all six circles are filled. Or maybe Google has a clever gimmick. This is just one in a series of puzzles we have to solve.

None of the puzzles are self-explanatory, but thankfully there is a Clue button in the bottom right corner of every page. Select one of the various puzzles from the left sidebar to get started.
If there’s one recommendation we can make, it’s to follow T’s instructions. Otherwise, the puzzle might take too long to solve and actually turn out to be fairly easy.

That said, even after some of us have completed our puzzles, it still remains to wait to see what Google’s next move will be. All that was said was “Incredible work!” You’ll see a message and a button to “observe” how the rest of the world is working.
That said, these puzzles are usually solved fairly quickly, so it’s only a matter of time before the I/O dates are revealed.
