- Google is late, but the changelog for the March 2023 feature removal has been leaked.
- It’s light on details, but it does match some features of other phones, such as improved Night Sight and the Direct My Call that appears on older phones.
- Not much is mentioned about the Pixel Watch other than its recent fall detection rollout.
- Google has not yet published the March 2023 update.
Google is a little behind with the next feature drop, but it should have dropped on Monday. However, the leaked changelog doesn’t seem to reveal much on the update horizon.
A feature drop scheduled for March 2023 has been slipped into 9to5Google, but it doesn’t seem like much. The next drop will likely include a wealth of bug fixes for Pixel phones and Pixel Watches, but the leak didn’t give any details.
The changelog begins with the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro taking advantage of the “faster Night Sight” previously introduced with the Pixel 7 series. This upgraded Night Sight feature can deliver “faster low-light photos.” This is due to the ability to create high-quality low-light images in half the usual time. Google believes this potential lies in new algorithms powered by Tensor Chips.
Google also seems to offer some unique features to other phones like Health Connect. A changelog purportedly reveals that an app focused on health and fitness metrics will be the program preloaded on all his Pixel phones. It also mentions that the Direct My Call feature, which started with the Pixel 6, will be available on the Pixel 4a and 5a.
As of now, the leaked changelog information doesn’t mention much about the Pixel Watch. The only mention of the device deals with the recent receipt of a fall detection safety feature to contact emergency services if necessary.
Google pushed the final beta of Android 13 QPR2 almost two weeks ago (it was light). The company has since rolled out Magic Eraser for his Google One subscribers on his iOS and Android phones. We are still waiting for Google to officially release his March 2023 feature drop and patch notes.

Google’s Pixel 7 Pro is the embodiment of all things smart home related. The Pixel 7 Pro aligns with everything within the Google ecosystem while also featuring unique his Pixel features, a noteworthy camera and a powerful Tensor G2 chip for enhanced performance.
