Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) and Melissa (Cecily Strong) return to Schmigadoon to experience the magic they felt there. However, they soon discover that Shmigadoon is no more. Instead, they double-step into Shumicargo, a city where sex and murder are on every corner. Titus Burgess also joins an ensemble that includes the return of Ariana DeVose, Martin Short, Dove Cameron, Jaime Kamil, Kristin Chenoweth, Alan Cumming, Anne Harada, Jane Krakowski and Aaron Tveit. .
