Itel has unveiled the A60, the most cost-effective 4G smartphone in its own words. Across 17 African countries, he has partnered with nine carriers to launch the phone, which will also be available in India.
The itel A60 is an Android 12 Go Edition smartphone boasting a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1,612 pixels (20:9). The screen runs at 60Hz and the touch sampling rate is 120Hz. Cut into it is a 5MP selfie camera.
There’s an 8MP main camera on the back, and there’s also a depth sensor and a fingerprint reader on the island. Both reader and selfie camera can be used to unlock secure.
The Go Edition software runs on Unisoc SC9832E, a basic 28nm chipset with 4 Cortex-A53 cores and Mali-G820 MP1 GPU. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, plus a microSD slot that can accept cards up to 128GB.
Inside the phone is a massive 5,000mAh battery that promises up to 8 hours of web browsing or roughly the same amount of video watching. The phone uses an outdated microUSB port and the other wired is a 3.5mm jack on the top.It comes in blue, green and black.
The last thing to talk about is the price. The itel A60 is available on the company’s Indian site with a price tag of Rs 6,000. Also found at GHS 774 in stores in Ghana and NGN 48,350 in stores in Nigeria.
