Earlier last month, the Poco X5 was made official alongside the Poco X5 Pro for the global market, but strangely, only the Poco X5 Pro has made it to India so far. But that is finally about to change in the near future.
The ‘vanilla’ Poco X5 will join the Pro brothers in the Indian market from March 14th. The news was revealed by Poco’s India division today, so it’s as official as it gets.

A month long delay is definitely weird, but it’s coming to an end. The launch will be on Tuesday at 12pm local time on He Flipkart.
The Poco X5 has a 6.67-inch 120 Hz AMOLED touchscreen, Snapdragon 695 SoC, 6/8 GB of RAM, 128/256 GB of expandable storage, and a triple rear camera setup (48 MP main, 8 MP ultra-wide, 2 MP macro), 13 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W wired charging. It runs Android 12, but unfortunately in this day and age it has MIUI 13 on top.
