Google recently revamped the Play Store across all platforms. Looks and glam weren’t the only new changes. One of the most useful new features added to the Android app store is the device search filter for apps and games. I’ll show you how to use it to search for apps and games by device in the Google Play Store.
How to find apps and games by device in the Google Play store on the web
1. go to play.google.com in your web browser.
2. A list of devices will appear at the top.

3. Click the selected device to view the apps and games for that device.
Browse apps for your smartphone, tablet, TV, or Chromebook on the web. The Play Store also lets you download and install apps for other devices directly from the web, as long as you’re signed in to the same Google account on all your devices.
The list of devices displayed is different for web and Android devices. However, the mobile version of the Google Play Store can still display Android apps and games for other platforms.
How to find apps and games by device in the Google Play Store on Android
1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device, such as a mobile phone.
2. Tap other device category.

3. Select an app to view compatible devices.
When you open the app’s listing on Android’s Play Store, you’ll see the names of compatible devices that support the app below the install button. Press the small downward arrow on the green install button and you’ll see a list of Android devices with checkboxes.
To install the app on another device, simply tap the box to tick it and press the green install button. Thanks to this system, you can install the same Android app on multiple devices at once.
Google integration is excellent as usual

Google always does a great job of tightly integrating its platform and services across devices. Whether you’re surfing the web on your laptop or browsing the Play Store on your Chromebook, device filters make it easy to find apps and games for all your other Android devices. .
The device filters you see will depend on the device you’re using, but it’s still a useful tool. For example, you can easily install compatible apps like Microsoft Outlook on your Pixel Watch from your phone’s Play Store.
This feature is especially useful for Android smartwatches, which have small screens and are generally difficult to type on. In that case, being able to use device filters to install selected apps from one device to another is a godsend.
