Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip series has dominated the foldable market, and it looks like Motorola wants to make the upcoming Razr a more visually appealing phone to draw users away from Samsung.
Newly leaked images from 91mobiles allegedly reveal the upcoming Razr 2023 with model number Moto XT2321-3. The bottom half of the phone comes in a hot pink-like color that’s also found on the volume and power buttons.
It’s not the first time this type of color has been spotted on the upcoming Razr, as it was partially shown in previous renders of the device.
It’s unclear what other colors the phone will be available in, but on the one hand it marks a bit of a departure from the Razr 2022, which was only available in black. It’s also like listening to an old Razr phone that was available and getting back in shape.
One of the reasons Samsung foldable devices like the Galaxy Z Flip 4 are so popular is because they come in stylish designs, and the company offers a myriad of color options for users to choose from. Perhaps Motorola wants to introduce this same type of appeal to its phones to boost foldable sales.
Aside from wanting to be more competitive with the Galaxy Z Flip 4, Motorola recently launched a multi-year partnership with Pantone to bring more unique color schemes to the company’s phones. Perhaps his next Razr will take advantage of this and offer great color options for users to choose from.
Lenovo CEO Yuanqing Yang has already said that the phone will be available “soon” but has not elaborated on when. Previous leaks indicate that it will arrive in June and include a much larger cover display.
