It’s been a while since Samsung launched its last Fan Edition / “FE” smartphone. The Galaxy S21 FE launched in his January of last year. Since then… nothing. Rumors were rampant about the Galaxy S22 FE at first, but when that didn’t happen, we started hearing about the Galaxy S23 FE.
nevertheless. Today, prolific (and usually trustworthy) leakster Roland Quandt delivers bad news to everyone who was battling breathlessly anticipating his S23 FE. According to him, it doesn’t look like he actually has an S23 FE this year. Or, dare I add, some other year if not this year.
Indeed, it looks like there will be no S23 FE this year.

Obviously, we can’t tell you exactly what’s going on or what Samsung’s plans really are. Remember to take reports with a healthy dose of skepticism.
Unfortunately Quandt didn’t go into any further details, but we can assume that he had some information about such phones if they were released in the next few months. After all, he is a constant source of leaks.
Samsung has never been really happy with the two FE smartphone models it launched. These are ‘flagship killer’ type devices and for a similar budget Samsung would buy the A-series mid-ranger instead of last year’s flagship (or the year before that) or something You seem to much prefer things like this. At least that’s one way of looking at it. We’ll stick around and let you know what’s really going on.
