Now, with participation from Pavilion Capital and Touchstone Partners, East Ventures plans to raise his new $2 million in funding to grow the telemedicine ecosystem.
The new capital will enable Medigo to expand its remote doctor visits, medicine delivery services and home testing services such as blood, urine and pregnancy tests.
Medigo’s app connects users to nearby licensed pharmacies for drug delivery within 20 minutes. Currently, he has 1,000 pharmacy partners in his three largest cities in Vietnam, Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, and plans to start expanding to Tier 2 cities such as Binh Duong, Vung Tau and Hai Phong this year.

Medigo has a number of competitors including Doctor Anywhere, Jio Health, Edoctor, Long Chau, Pharmacity and Rightnow. According to Le, Medigo differentiates itself by working with his 24/7 pharmacy. It also plans to connect different providers, so users can have more choice on the same platform.
