Chinese tech startup IdeaClub has launched an interesting Full HD ultra short throw projector on Indiegogo. It offers 100-inch visuals and built-in sound, but can also use expansion modules that bring touch interaction, extra uptime, or enhanced audio.
The Witseer projector looks a lot like the puppy cube we tried in 2018, but instead of nifty built-in touch controls, the IdeaClub unit has a screen that slides over the projection surface and a plug. An optional motion sensor module is available. to the USB port on the side.
This basically brings a touch to the image projected onto the tabletop or office desk by the main projection unit. The module uses infrared scanning and laser technology to track the user’s hands and fingers within the projected canvas.
The system can recognize gestures such as pinch and zoom, document or browser scrolling, drawing or painting, and interactive games. This brings an edutainment app for kids to life, or adds a little extra functionality to his team meetings at the office. You have to be aware of shadow tracking issues.

Flip the DLP projector (without motion module) to project 1080p/60 Hz video from 45 cm (17.7 inches) away from a wall or screen and up to 100 inches away. IdeaClub claims that viewers can expect “clear, bright images even in daylight or bright rooms” thanks to the 1,000 ANSI lumens output from the LED light source, but best results are obtained in dark rooms. .
