Last week, Geekbench first spotted an Asus ROG Phone 7, possibly a 7D variant (judging by module number ASUS_AI2205_D). Of course, previous D models used his Dimensity chip, so this could be another variant instead. There are at least two more variants lurking in the Geekbench database.
These are AI2205_B and AI2205_C, probably Asus ROG Phone 7 and 7 Pro. According to unconfirmed reports, the C version will be available in India.

Note that all three variants we’ve seen so far (B, C, D) use the base version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with a 3.19GHz prime core. In the past, the company has featured an enhanced version of his Qualcomm top chip. For example, his ROG Phone 5 (and Pro) with the base Snapdragon 888 (2.84GHz) came out, followed by his ROG Phone 5s (and Pro). Snapdragon 888+ (2.99GHz).
There’s an 8th Gen 2 version running prime cores at 3.19GHz to 3.36GHz shown here, but it’s exclusive to Samsung. I wasn’t sure if this was timed or not.
Anyway, all three variants featured 16GB of RAM, but knowing Asus there should be at least an 18GB version as well. and UFS 4.0 storage.
according to gadget dataThe Asus ROG Phone 7 will have a 6.8-inch FHD+ 165Hz AMOLED display with a built-in fingerprint reader and a 6,000mAh battery with 65W charging. That’s what the 6 Series models also had.
The Asus ROG Phone 6 series launched last July, so we’ll be at least a few months away from seeing the next-generation ROG Phone.
