Many ebikes blur the line between pedal-assisted two-wheelers and small electric bikes, but most have the look of a traditional bicycle. Others prefer to fully embrace the moto vibe, and the latest to join the gang is China’s Engwe’s M20.

The M20 rolls on a moto-style 6061 aluminum alloy frame with a downtube-mounted 13 Ah Lithium-Ion battery pack and goes up to 47 miles (75.6 km) per charge in lowest power mode. However, you can optionally add a second 13 Ah battery. This is mounted on the top tube and provides a total range of up to 94 miles.
Rider heights from 5 to 6.8 feet (155 – 210 cm) are supported, the ebike has a maximum payload of 264.5 lbs (120 kg) and comes with a rack bag. Tube if dual battery configuration is selected at checkout.

A 750 W rear hub motor (1,000 W peak) produces 55 Nm (40.5 lb,ft) of torque to handle inclines up to 10 degrees and provides pedal assistance up to 28 mph (45 km/h). increase. A Shimano 7-speed gearset is included, allowing riders to twist the throttle to push lights or save a leg.
