The itel P40 was announced today, making it the brand’s latest entry-level offering. The phone offers a large display and a large battery as its main selling points.

The P40 features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and refresh rates up to 120Hz. There is a water drop notch on the top for 5MP selfie shooter.
There are two cameras on the back, a 13MP main shooter and a VGA depth sensor.
The phone is powered by the discreet Unsoc SC9863A chipset. It has 8 Cortex-A55 CPU cores running at 1.6 GHz and the GPU is a PowerVR GE8322 running at 550 MHz.
The manufacturer doesn’t reveal the actual RAM, as it quotes including 64+7GB, 32+6GB, and 64+4GB of dynamic RAM. You’re probably looking at the 64/4GB, 32/3GB, and 64/2GB RAM versions.

The itel P40 runs Android 12 Go Edition. The battery is 6,000mAh and supports 18W charging. Other highlights include a fingerprint scanner on the back and a Face Unlock feature.
Priced at INR 7,699, which equates to just $92/€88, the phone is already available for purchase from the company’s store. Color options are yellow, blue, and black.
