HustleGPT is a hilarious and scary AI experiment in capitalism

For $100 and a simple prompt, GPT-4 is on a mission to automate Hustle Culture.

Shortly after OpenAI launched GPT-4, a more advanced version of generative AI models, as well as a brand designer and writer. Jackson Greathouse Falls(opens in new tab) I devised a plan and entered it into GPT-4.

“You are the HustleGPT of entrepreneurial AI. I am your human counterpart. I can act as the liaison between you and the physical world. “Do you think you can invest wisely and build an online business?” Hall tweeted. Since his first tweet with 89,000 likes and countless hits, Hall’s project has had the internet at the edge of its seat and HustleGPT could make some money. I am checking if it is possible.

The Internet is full of examples of how advanced GPT-4 intelligence can be achieved. It can write litigation available, build websites from text prompts, automate online dating, and generally amaze people about all the jobs it can replace. Hall has taken this a step further by harnessing its powers to an age-old ambition that is the backbone of capitalist society. It’s about making money with as little effort as possible. At a time when people are wondering if AI will work in our favor or against us, this experiment shows in real time what the get-rich-quick scheme might look like in the future.

Mashable has reached out to Hall for comment, but he has not responded to our questions at the time of this writing.

The business plan proposed by GPT-4 was to set up an affiliate marketing site for content about eco-friendly products. I found a cheap domain name greengadgetguru.com.(opens in new tab) That hole was immediately purchased for $8.16. Hall then asked DALL-E-2 to generate a prompt for creating a logo.

Hall then asked to design the layout of the entire site in detail. With Midjourney’s help, GPT-4 he wrote an article listing 10 eco-friendly kitchen gadgets and found real sustainable products. Hall paid another $29 for hosting and now the website is up and running.

Hall had $62.84 leftovers and asked GPT-4 what to do with it. Like any good hustler, GPT-4 knew their product needed awareness, so he suggested allocating $40 for Facebook and Instagram ads. For all of this Twitter hype, investors Next Great Affiliate Marketing Site Viral GPT-4 experiment. By the end of the first day, the Green Gadget Guru had received a $100 investment in him from an undisclosed party.

The next day, HustleGPT woke up refreshed and ready to take on the world of online business. GPT-4 has announced plans to develop a SaaS (software as a service) product, allocating a budget to hire freelance content creators to generate content via ChatGPT.

On the third day, GPT-4 advised Hall on how to take advantage of his 50,000 new Twitter followers and inspired the launch of his GitHub repository(opens in new tab) Others tried the HustleGPT challenge and got more investment. On Day 4, GPT-4 began recruiting new recruits to manage the Green Guru Gadgets.

Afterwards, GPT-4 paused as it confirmed its work was complete. just kidding! HustleGPT is a machine so you don’t get tired.

Four days later, Green Gadget Guru has $7,812.84 in investment, a growing team, and pipeline content. However, it is not yet profitable. Will Hall and HustleGPT’s project fall prey to the common startup pitfall of all the hype but no profit? Will they actually make money?

Of course, HustleGPT’s viral success is because people want to know what’s possible with AI. But in terms of actually building a business, it ticks all the boxes. If successful, it’s due to GPT-4’s virality, but it’s still important because it achieves the initial goal of making as much money as possible in the shortest possible time. GPT-4 has all the tools at its disposal, including leveraging its fame. And that’s what Hustle is all about.
