When Audrey (Ashley Park) travels to China to meet her birth parents, she doesn’t expect to find herself embroiled in drug smuggling and K-pop star impersonations.But that’s exactly what’s happening in Adele Lim’s upcoming comedy trailer Joyride.
Audrey travels with her childhood best friend Rollo (Shelley Cora), her college roommate-turned-Chinese soap star Kat (Oscar-nominated Stephanie Hsu), and her quirky cousin Deadeye (Sabrina Wu). These four friends of his may have an improbable (and hilariously blatant) journey, but by the end of that journey, they’re about friendship and who they really are. will learn more.
