Last November, an Oppo smartphone with model code PHQ110, believed to be the Oppo A98 5G, was certified by China’s TENAA. Now a new version of his A98 with model designation CPH2529 has been certified by his NBTC in Thailand and is one step closer to launching outside of China.
The Thai certification body has not revealed anything about the CPH2529 other than confirming 5G connectivity. However, thanks to TENAA, we know what the Chinese version has to offer.
The Chinese Oppo A98 is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor with a 6.7-inch FullHD+ curved AMOLED display and a biometric fingerprint reader underneath.

Smartphones come with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Powered by a battery with a rated capacity of 4,690 mAh, it tows his three cameras: 108MP primary, 2MP depth/macro and 16MP selfie.
