Huawei has announced the P60 series mobile phones with three entries. There’s the vanilla Huawei P60, Huawei P60 Pro, and Huawei P60 Art, bringing a more avant-garde design to the series.

All three phones share the same core hardware, a 6.67-inch LTPO OLED screen with FHD+ resolution (1220×2700 pixels) and a refresh rate of 1-120Hz. The panel is protected by Kunlun glass and has a built-in fingerprint scanner.

The camera is the strength of the P60 series, so let’s switch topics for a moment. All three smartphones share the same 48MP main camera with RYYB sensor and OIS. The sensor brings a 10-speed variable aperture from f/1.4-f/4.0 with automatic scene-based switching.

This approach should capture the optimal amount of light, depending on the shooting environment. Huawei’s marketing materials praise the light capture capabilities of his new RYYB sensor as industry-leading. The main cam also supports up to 4K video recording.

Moving on to the ultra-wide sensor – the P60 and P60 Pro share the same 13MP unit with an f/2.2 aperture, while the P60 Art gets a 40MP sensor with the same aperture. The P60 brings a 12MP telephoto module with an f/3.4 aperture, OIS, and a 125mm equivalent lens. The P60 Pro and P60 Art get a more sophisticated 48MP telephoto module with OIS and a 90mm equivalent lens capable of 3.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom.
The telephoto lenses on the P60 Pro and P60 Art have an f/2.1 aperture, which should make them much better at night shooting than competing modules from other manufacturers. light, which is a pretty bold claim. The sensor also features 3-axis stabilization.

The P60 series is equipped with Huawei’s XD Fusion Pro texture engine that attempts to reproduce the texture of objects in a way that is as close as possible to the texture of objects perceived by the human eye.
All three P60 smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 8+ 4G chipset, an LTE-only version of last year’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
Another notable feature of the P60 series is the ability to send and receive Beidou satellite messages. Send and receive text messages even when there is no ground signal around. This feature is limited to China.

The Huawei P60 and P60 Pro have a 4,815 mAh battery with 66W wired charging for the standard model and 88W for the Pro. Both versions support 50W wireless charging. The P60 Art has a slightly larger battery capacity of 5,100 mAh, and the cells are silicon carbon, offering higher energy density compared to its lithium-ion based counterparts. All three phones run Harmony OS 3.1 out of the box and are IP68 rated.
Huawei P60 and P60 Pro are available in exclusive Feather Purple, Feather Black, Emerald Emerald, and Rococo White options. The P60 Art is available in Blue Sea and Quicksand Gold colors.
