The Redmi Note 12 series opens the European chapter of its global journey today, and with the Redmi Note 12 Pro in the office, let’s unpack it.
This is a well-fed phone. Comes with case, 67W charger and USB cable. With the included 67W charger, Xiaomi promises 0% to 50% in just 15 minutes and up to 100% in 46 minutes. Test these numbers in your review.
Unpacking the Redmi Note 12 Pro
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro starts at €399 (INR 24,999 when it launched in India in January) and for that amount you get a well rounded device. On the front is a 6.67 inch 1080p AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate. On the back, we have a triple camera with a 50MP f/1.9 primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. The front camera has a 16MP sensor.
The 5,000mAh battery should last quite a while when paired with the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset. There are 6GB, 8GB and even 12GB RAM options.
front and back
Compared to the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, it lacks a high-res 200MP primary camera and fast 120W charging.

We’ll get down to testing the Redmi Note 12 Pro and report back on our findings.
