A massive leak has revealed detailed specifications for the Motorola Moto Edge 40 Pro and Edge 40.
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro will certainly be the Moto X40 for the global market. That means a 6.7-inch 1080x2400px OLED with a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip with 12GB of his LPDDR5X RAM. Storage is faster UFS4.0 type 256GB.
The Edge 40 Pro has a 4,600mAh battery with 125W TurboPower wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The phone has a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.5 inch sensor and a 50MP f/2.2 ultra wide camera with macro capabilities. There is also a 60MP selfie camera.
The Motorola Edge 40 has a 6.55 inch 1080x2400px pOLED with a refresh rate of 144Hz. The phone premieres the new MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset. It has 8 GB of LPPDR4X RAM and either 128 GB or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The Moto Edge 40 will have the same 50MP primary camera as the Pro, but the rest of the settings aren’t as impressive. There’s a 13MP ultra-wide shooter on the back and a 32MP camera on the front. The Moto Edge 40 will have a 4,400mAh battery with 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
Both phones are IP68 water and dust resistant.
The Moto Edge 40 comes in two finishes, vegan leather and PMMA acrylic, and comes in four colors: Nebula Green, Luna Blue, Eclipse Black, and Viva Magenta. The Moto Edge 40 Pro has an aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Victus on each side, and comes in Quartz Black and Angel Falls colors.
