We got our hands on the first set of teasers for the OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock Edition last week. The device is based on his OnePlus 11 but features a unique his 3D microcrystalline back finish inspired by the rocky material found in Jupiter’s rings. OnePlus China has confirmed that the device will launch in China on his March 29th at 2:30pm Beijing time.

OnePlus also shared some details about the device on their Weibo profile. The R&D process took him a year and OnePlus had to set up a new homegrown production line for the special lining material. The yield rate of the new back material is reported to be 50% compared to regular glass-backed smartphones, and each of the new OnePlus 11 Rock Edition phones will feature an exclusive pattern. All Jupiter Rock Edition mobile phones also feature custom packaging.
