As expected, Xiaomi today announced the Redmi Note 12 Turbo in China. The phone is a pioneer that combines his recently announced Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset with up to 16GB of his LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB UFS 3.1 storage.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo brings a 6.67-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The panel has a punch-hole cutout for the 16MP front-facing camera.
The back houses a 64MP main cam, an 8MP ultra-wide unit and a 2MP macro lens.
The phone is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W charging support and launches MIUI 14 based on Android 13. In terms of connectivity, you get Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6, a headphone jack and an IR blaster.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo comes in black, blue and silver colors. The 8/256GB trim is priced at CNY 1,999 ($290). The 12/256GB model is CNY 2,099 ($305) while the 12/512GB version is CNY 200 ($30) more expensive. The top-end 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage version is priced at RMB 2,599 ($378).

Xiaomi has also collaborated with Warner Bros. on a special Harry Potter edition of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. The Redmi Note 12 Harry Potter Edition comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, priced at CNY 2,399 ($349).

General sales in China will begin on March 31st. International pricing and availability have not been detailed at this time.
