As a quick recap, we’ll quickly recap the Pixel 6a’s specs and highlight some of its features and drawbacks. The device is powered by the Google Tensor G1 SoC, the same chip that has been in the Pixel 6 series since 2021. This is our flagship chip and it can handle all tasks without issue. It has 6GB of RAM and a 6.1-inch OLED display. The main drawback is that it only supports 60Hz. Still, 2023 is capable of more than that.
That said, it’s one of the best camera-equipped smartphones in its price range, and one of my favorite devices. The 12MP primary and 12MP ultrawide allow you to take beautiful pictures in both dark and bright environments. If you’re on a tight budget, this is one of the best budget phones available today.
We’ve already covered the notable specs when it comes to the Pixel 7. If you’re looking for wireless charging, an even better camera, and a 90Hz refresh rate, this is one of the best phones out there. It will continue to receive timely updates for at least three years, making it a great alternative at its current price.
