Vivo’s first foray into flip-style collapsible spaces has been making a lot of headlines lately, and today, thanks to its Google Play certification, its name has been confirmed. To no one’s surprise, the phone will be called the vivo X Flip.
The X Fold is another line of foldables, and the X Flip competes with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip4 and Oppo’s Find N2 Flip, so it makes perfect sense in Vivo’s naming logic. It seems that if you want to avoid the word “flip” in the name, you should go with Motorola. flipI gasp.
Anyway, the vivo X Flip was recently spotted in the Geekbench online database, rocking a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM. His recent 3C certification revealed that it will support 44W fast charging.
According to past rumors, the phone will come with a 6.8 inch FHD+ 120 Hz built-in screen, a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide and a 4,400 mAh battery. Apparently it will be official in China at some point in April.
