The ceramic is glazed on the inside and retains water even in fresh flowers. ~ Personalization is done by applying outdoor grade decals just like you would on a vehicle that withstands inclement weather and windshield wipers. The design of this jug likewise stands up to washing, weather and years. Finished in a piece that can be used habitually for generations. I wouldn’t use paint on these as the paint flakes off the ceramic very easily and greatly reduces the quality of the item. Engraving is not provided as the curvature of the jug may distort the personalized design and cause the jug to lose its shape.
