Late last year, XGIMI unveiled a new portable projector featuring the company’s intelligent screen adaptation technology ahead of its show at CES 2023. The MoGo 2 Pro Full HD model and its 720p series sibling called the MoGo 2 are currently up for pre-order.
At launch, full details, including pricing, weren’t available, but that was rectified with the pre-order announcement.

XGIMI’s engineers added a 3D time-of-flight module, high-precision CMOS sensors, and Xeon visual recognition algorithms to improve image recognition accuracy and further reduce “ready to go” time. The new version also puts intelligent eye protection into the equation, with the projected image automatically dimming when someone passes in front of the projector.
The MoGo 2 Pro DLP Projector can project Full HD visuals at a 1.2:1 ratio onto a wall or screen up to 200 inches diagonal. Brightness has been tweaked from 300 ANSI lumens on the previous generation to 400 ISO lumens on the new model, and the unit now supports 90% of the wide DCI-P3 color gamut and D65 color temperature standard.
Running Android TV 11 and opening the door to thousands of entertainment apps via the Play Store, XGIMI has yet to receive official approval from Netflix.It comes with 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM, Wireless connectivity is configured as Bluetooth 5.0 and 802.11ac Wi-Fi with built-in Chromecast. Audio output is available for headphones.

The on-board sound system has been enhanced compared to the first generation, with two 8W Dolby Audio speakers and dual-sided output for greater dispersion, plus four options for movies, sports, music and news. It has audio presets.
