Meizu held a big launch event yesterday, unveiling the Meizu 20 series mobile phones and the latest Flyme 10 interface. The new Android-based firmware brings a visual overhaul called Alive Design with a modern look including new icons, widgets, menu designs and wallpapers.

Core system apps have also been revamped, with the app’s signature Meizu small window mode receiving new two-finger and long-press gestures. Flyme 10 is powered by the Meizu OneMind 10 AI engine, which promises higher frame rates, less system space usage, and better stability compared to its predecessor. Aicy digital assistant now supports smart scanning and text recognition of images and videos in real time.
Meizu also shared that the Flyme 10 beta will arrive on the Meizu 18 duo and Meizu 18s series in early April, followed by a stable release in May. In addition, the Meizu 17 series and Meizu 18X beta will be available in late April for him, and the stable version for him in June.
