Meizu 20 series debut with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 50MP main cams and Flyme 10

Meizu is back on the smartphone scene with its 20th anniversary releases Meizu 20, Meizu 20 Pro and Meizu 20 Infinity. Alongside automotive brands such as Volvo, Smart and Lynk & Co, his Geely-owned manufacturer also showcased its latest mobile OS, his Flyme 10, alongside the Flyme Auto and Lynk & Co 08 electric SUV.

The Meizu 20 Pro features a 6.81-inch LTPO OLED screen with a resolution of 1368 x 3192 pixels and a refresh rate of 1-120 Hz. The Meizu 20 Infinity version boasts a 6.79-inch screen with the same resolution and refresh rate as the standard Pro model, but with slimmer 2.48mm edges on all four sides.

The Meizu 20 gets a smaller 6.55-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. All three phones have ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanners and 32MP front-facing cameras.

The back of the Meizu 20 Pro has three 50MP sensors behind wide, ultra wide and telephoto lenses. The Meizu 20 Infinity has the same 50MP main sensor, but the ultra wide and telephoto are downgraded to his 12MP sensor. The standard Meizu 20 has a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor for the main camera, a 16MP ultra-wide module and a 5MP auxiliary camera.

All three Meizu 20 phones are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The new phone also comes with Flyme 10 OS, which brings a new design language called Alive Design.

The Meizu 20 has a 4,700 mAh battery with 67W fast charging. The Meizu 20 Infinity features a 4,800 mAh cell with 65W wireless charging and 50W wireless, while the Meizu 20 Pro features a larger 5,000 mAh cell and supports 80W wired and 50W wireless.

The Meizu 20 comes in green, yellow, pink and black colors. The base 12/128GB trim starts at CNY 2,999 ($436) while the 12/512GB version goes for CNY 3,799 ($553).

The Meizu 20 Pro comes in black, gold and silver colors. The baseline 12/128 GB version is CNY 3,999 ($582), while the 12/512 GB is CNY 4,799 ($698).

The Meizu 20 Infinity comes in green, silver and black colors. It will be priced at RMB 6,299 ($916) on 12/256, and will drop to RMB 8,499 ($1,236) for the top-end 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage model. The Meizu 20 series will go on general sale in China from April 3rd.
