After weeks of teasers, Realme has finally unveiled the GT Neo 5 SE in China. The new device shares some key specs with the regular GT Neo5, but there are three key differences in the chipset, camera and battery departments.
Realm GT Neo 5SE
The Realme GT Neo 5 SE features a 6.74 inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2772 x 1240 px and a refresh rate of 144Hz. A punch-hole cutout houses a 16MP selfie camera and an under-display optical fingerprint scanner.
The GT Neo 5 SE is powered by Qualcomm’s latest 7 series chipset, Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The camera department features a 64MP main sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide module and a 2MP microscope lens.
Other notable differences between the GT Neo 5 and the new SE models are battery capacity and charging speed. The SE model brings a capacity of 5,500 mAh versus the GT Neo 5’s 5,000 mAh and charges at a speed of 100W compared to the GT Neo 5’s 150W solution. The software side is handled by Realme UI 4.0 on Android 13.

The Realme GT Neo 5 SE comes in blue and black colors. Pricing in China starts at CNY 2,099 ($305) for the 8/256GB trim and CNY 2,799 ($406) for the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage version. General sales in China start on April 10th.
