Back in 2021, e-bike maker Sondors launched a very expensive electric motorcycle called the Metacycle. Today, the company follows hub-drive city commuters with an off-road e-moto called the MetaBeast.
At launch, Metacycle was priced at just US$5,000, but by the time the delivery window was announced, the price had risen to US$6,500 for new customers.
