vivo T2 is back! At least part of that version. A phone with model number V2240 has appeared in his Geekbench 5 database and there is reason to believe that this is his T2 that will launch in India on Tuesday, April 11th.
Again, this vivo T2 is different from what was supposed to launch in China before it suffered some delays. It uses a chipset code named “Holi” to be low power. Qualcomm seems to use this for both the Snapdragon 695 and Snapdragon 480.
Geekbench 5 Scorecard: vivo T2 with Snapdragon 695 Chipset
Neither chip is particularly powerful, but the 695 uses the new A78 core instead of the A76. Judging by the single-core score, this is the Snapdragon 695. Phones with this chip typically score 600-700 points on Geekbench 5. The 480 old big CPUs are usually in the 500-600 range. Again, neither chip is a speed fiend. Anyway, this particular unit was equipped with 6GB of RAM, but there may be other configurations.
So far, Flipkart has said that both the vivo T2 and T2x have a peak brightness of 1,300 nits and a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz and a high refresh rate (probably 120 Hz, but they don’t state exact numbers). It has been revealed that it will be equipped with an FHD+ AMOLED display. Details will be available on April 7th, 9th and 11th with a full reveal.
