MSI GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM X 24G

BIG, HEAVY, AND OVERCLOCKED

As The FPS Review points out, the MSI GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM X 24G is one of the few cards that can run at 2625MHz boost while using air cooling. Not only could the TORX 5.0 cooling cope with it, but when I manually overclocked it in my FPS review and was able to squeeze out another 155MHz from the SUPRIM X 24G, the fan stabilized at 36-39%. At that level of RPM the card is basically silent.

The bad news is that the board consumes over 400W and costs $1700. You get better performance overall than the Radeon RX 7900 XTX, but the card is available for just under $1000, leaving you with a choice between the GPU or the GPU and the entire system. If you can afford it and are looking forward to ray tracing and ultra graphics at 4K, the MSI GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM X 24G is the card for you. The choice is yours.
