David Adam: You teach people how to hack. why?
Scott Shapiro: I think it’s very difficult for people to understand how hacking works when it’s explained in the abstract. It’s like explaining how to do carpentry work through instructions. I can read the text, but I can’t really understand what’s going on. Teaching people how to hack makes it more intuitive not only how hacking works, but also how to protect yourself from hackers.
