The 4060 Ti matches the 3060 Ti in VRAM and price. Why not buy one?
For those who missed it, here is the official information. NVIDIA releases GeForce RTX 4060 and GeForce RTX 4060 Ti GPUs. You may have read some rumors (especially if you follow his website about video cards with a Z), but this is reality, not rumor. Unless it’s an AI. What exactly was announced? Three GPUs. I have two GPUs, one of which has two memory configurations. Here’s an overview:
- GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB Available Wednesday, May 24th for $399
- The GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB version will be available in July with prices starting at $499.
- GeForce RTX 4060 Available July, Starting at $299
The last entry in the list above might be the most interesting (yes, aside from the fact that there will be a 16 GB version of the RTX 4060 Ti after all). NVIDIA offering the RTX 4060 at $299 means it’s been over four years since the RTX 2060 launched at $349, and over two years since the RTX 3060’s (theoretical) launch price of $329. also means that the price of xx60 cards is trending downward. It’s not huge, but it makes sense in a market where everything is more expensive than it was just a few years ago and graphics cards have become somewhat of a luxury item.
