Conventional computer chip design is reaching its limit

The first working example of a new kind of computer, the standard version can complete calculations longer than the age of the universe in minutes. This so-called digital memory computer, which combines data storage and processing into her single component, could be the solution to the slow progress of traditional computer chips.
In theory, a typical computer can solve any computational problem by performing a single logical operation on its processor, storing the result in memory, and moving on to the next.
