Fractal Terra Mini-ITX Case Review

Terra could ideally mount a 120mm fan on the bottom of the chassis as an air intake, but I’m not entirely convinced of the effectiveness of this location. Half of the airflow is basically blocked by the power supply. The other half will flow through the GPU, but you won’t really see any meaningful temperature difference, plus you’ll lose most of the cable management space provided in this case.

Fractal also highlights configurations for using a single-fan, short GPU-utilizing 120mm CPU liquid cooler. While this is a nice feature, more people interested in an enclosure like this will end up with a Terra with a full-sized GPU and one of his better low-profile CPU coolers. think. Of course, some may wonder how a GPU cooler and low-profile CPU can keep the temperature down in such a small enclosure without an exhaust fan. Let’s see.
