At this point, it almost has to be patched, right?
CD Projekt Red released Cyberpunk 2077 as a rush construction much earlier than planned, but at the time of release it was more of a bug than a game. Things have changed since release, and most of the issues have been completely resolved, making the game actually worth playing. The first of his DLC has only just been revealed, so they’ve clearly learned a lesson. This bodes well for playability on day one, and we hope that once the Phantom Liberty is installed, there will be no unexpected results in the main his campaign.
Similar to The Witcher DLC, missions that trigger Phantom Liberty unlock at specific times during the main campaign, after which you can start them whenever you want. Like the main game, there are various endings, and at least one of those endings triggers a new ending for the main game.
It will be available on September 26th for $30.
