The Razer Blade 14 2023 Gaming Laptop Has Ryzen Inside

A Mobile Intel ARC GPU Is All You Need To Be Truly Unique

After a long hiatus for most laptop makers, AMD is back on the menu for some models. One of them is his Razer Blade 14 this year, powered by an 8-core, 16-thread Ryzen 9 7940HS and NVIDIA’s mobile RTX 4070. The internal Radeon 780M is not enough to drive a 240Hz 2560×1600 display, but it can. Adds some interesting features. Instead of driving the display, the iGPU is used by new features Microsoft is adding to Windows 11 and Office to take advantage of Ryzen AI acceleration.

Since this is a PCIe 4.0 based system, the M-2 port will work with an M.2 NVMe slot connected to a CPU that works at Gen 4 x4 as well as a GPU. DDR5 is supported in dual channel mode. The 3D guru hopes the laptop will have his X3D parts soon, but it looks like it’s still a ways away. Read the review here.
