NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Review – Featuring ASUS

Ada prices start at 300 USD. Are you excited?

NVIDIA is all about AI, but consumer GPUs are still important. And while marketing for this modest little RTX 4060 still centers around AI-powered technologies (DLSS, frame generation), it’s still a traditional desktop graphics solution. Therefore, there are raster performance issues that are particularly relevant to AMD’s latest offerings.

And yes, this is another 8GB part for 2023, and I remember the RTX 3060 had 12GB of VRAM. Call it regression if you like. However, NVIDIA would point out that the massive L2 cache and DLSS+FG would largely alleviate his VRAM concerns. But let’s be honest. In 2023, no $300 product with 8GB of his VRAM will earn the Gamers Nexus or Hardware Unbox seal of approval. YouTube has a negative opinion, and this will probably cause an uproar.

In this written review, I’ll show you some real-world data from a benchmark I just finished running over the past few days, and let you decide if this card is worth your hard-earned money. No drama, just facts, ma’am. Start with the specs below (I’m not 100% sure about some specs and should probably update).
