Great for water or air cooled builds
Lian Li has also branched out into fan manufacturing and the 120mm UNI FAN P28 is a great first product. Airflow performance through the TechPowerUp radiator topped the charts, and the noise produced tended to be near the low midrange among the dozens of fans we compared. Testing was done with his normal settings running at 2200RPM. The fan also offers his other two speeds, 1200RPM silent and his 2600RPM performance. The three packs come with fan controllers, but you can also use your own. Fans default to full speed if no controller is present.
Lian Li has added some unique features to the UNI FAN P28, such as the ability to daisy chain fans together. Cable management is much easier as you can run up to 3 fans from a single 1A motherboard header using a single cable. At this time, you can also use the clips on the fan to connect the fan. You can also remove it if you have set it separately. The pack of 3 comes with an ARGB fan controller, but if you want to buy a single fan you’ll need to bring your own, and Lian Li doesn’t seem to sell the controller separately at this time.
